CDDI to sponsor Europaproperty Retail Awards & Marketplace virtual gala Feb. 10-11, 2021

Jan. 25, 2021 (WARSAW)—Corporate Due Diligence and Investigation (CDDI) is pleased to announce that it is the proud sponsor of the upcoming EuropaProperty Retail Awards & Marketplace virtual conference and awards gala to be held live and online Feb. 10-11, 2021.

The on-line awards event is a continuation of Europapropery’s long-running series of events, which annually include retail, commercial and logistics awards for Polish companies and for other companies and projects across Central and Eastern Europe.

Craig Smith, the event’s organizer, noted that Europaproperty has managed to move forward—despite the COVID-19 pandemic—as the leading on-line/virtual real estate event player in the region.

“The truth is that most such companies have found the barriers of COVID-19 all but insurmountable,” he said. “This is obviously a hard time to hold any type of awards event—party because hotels have taken the brunt of COVID-19 and it has become for the time being impossible to gather in large groups—but we have successfully overcome this with a great deal of hard work and investment into IT infrastructure.

“When COVID-19 happened we became determined to stick to the plan, however,” Smith added. “We have year-in, year-out held such events for well more than a decade, so we can’t allow something like this to just stop us. We moved to virtual events, and have successfully held similar awards event already with the most recent even begin the CEE Investment & Manufacturing Awards held Oct. 28, 2020.”

Judging by the reaction to the coming CEE Retail Deal awards, the market is also hungry to move forward. Some 30-plus sponsors and partners have already committed to the February gala, and Europaproperty released a shortlist of nominees for 25 awards.

Smith added that the first day of the event, Feb. 10, will also include a CEO speed networking hour, as well as virtual panels that will discuss the future of investment and logistics development; E-fulfilment supply chains; new formats for customer expectations; last-mile retail and delivery; retail development and the ascendance of retail parks/outlet centers and other themes.
